
ABOUT
Dr. Mackenzie Clemens grew up in Newcastle and spent her childhood doing competitive gymnastics and playing lacrosse, soccer, and hockey. Her passion for health and athletics led her to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at Queen's University, where she played four years of varsity lacrosse. She went on to pursue her Doctorate degree in Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Since graduation, Dr. Clemens has continued her education with the McMaster University Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program and their Advanced Sports Medical Acupuncture Program. Over the last few years, she has been working as a Chiropractor within the Clarington community and as a Fitness Coach at Orangetheory Fitness Bowmanville.
Dr. Clemens is experienced in treating a variety of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. She values using an individualized patient-centered approach and is committed to helping her patients optimize recovery, performance, and quality of life.
When not in the clinic, Dr. Clemens enjoys working out, playing lacrosse and soccer, cooking, and spending time with her fiancé and their fur-baby.



CHIROPRACTIC SERVICES
WHAT TO EXPECT
After completion of intake paperwork, Dr. Clemens will perform a thorough health history and physical examination. She will discuss the assessment findings and suspected diagnosis and will work with you to come up with a personalized treatment plan. Unless urgent referral, testing and/or imaging are indicated, she provides treatment at your initial appointment.
