ABOUT
Dr. Mackenzie Clemens grew up in Clarington, where she developed a strong passion for health and athletics through gymnastics, lacrosse, soccer, and hockey. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Queen’s University, where she was a member of the varsity lacrosse team, before completing her Doctor of Chiropractic at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College.
Dr. Clemens has pursued advanced training in medical acupuncture through McMaster University, completing both the Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Program and the Advanced Sports Medical Acupuncture Program. She brings several years of clinical experience in the Durham Region, treating a wide range of acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions.
Her approach to care is patient-centered and results-driven, with a focus on reducing pain, restoring movement, addressing neural inhibitions, and enhancing overall quality of life. She has a particular interest in working with athletes and active individuals, supporting them through injury recovery and performance optimization.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Clemens enjoys staying active through workouts, playing lacrosse and soccer, cooking, and spending time with her husband and their fur-baby.
